  • Keep up the good fight ABH_2

You have a friend in me.
  • Nice quote of Washington's. That goe's good with Thomas Paine's "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it".
  • I have little faith that the current polititions will stand up for the Constitution or the Tax Payer. Tea Party numbers are growing and it will take time for the masses to realize if you eliminate the golden goose there will be no gold. When welfare is eliminated there shall be unrest but in the end those remaining will have a more secure country when the Republic is once again ruled by the Constitution.
  • ABH-2,
No, it is I who is honored to be counted among your friends. Thank you for your service.
Great looking page and very good content. I do hope you blog or post this info in the forum or? very important!

    Thank you for your time,

  • I apologize for having to add all of this in three comments, but the cut and paste portion in the two following posts below is one letter.

THE 17th AMENDMENT EFFECTIVELY RENDERS THE 10th AMENDMENT NULL AND VOID, AND WILL DESTROY THE RECENT CHALLENGES BY THE STATES TO REASSERT THEIR SOVEREIGNTY.

The 17th Amendment to the United States Constitution can be rescinded by the states alone.
State legislatures must be convinced to rescind it. PLEASE write to your state legislators.

PLEASE SEND THIS LETTER TO YOUR STATE NOT FEDERAL REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATORS IN YOUR HOME STATE LOCATED IN YOUR STATE CAPITAL.

    THIS IS ONLY A DRAFT.
COPY, PASTE AND EDIT AS YOU SEE FIT.
  • To (your State not federal Representative or Senator)

In light of the recent course of events, I respectfully submit the following:
Where as the Federal Government has seen fit to totally disregard the Individual Rights and Sovereignty of the Individual States.
Where as the Federal Government is engaged in the greatest expansion of it’s authority and power ever known to these United States.
Where as the Federal Government has seen fit to impose Unfunded Mandates and Unfair Regulation upon the Individual States.
Where as the Executive Branch has seen fit to directly engage in the interference of legal and binding contracts as well as long standing president in the execution of the law.
Where as the Executive Branch has seen fit to appoint Unelected Agents of that Office without the approval of either the House of Representatives or the Senate.
Where as the principals of checks and balances as set forth by the Equal Representation of both the People and the Individual States as set forth in the Constitution, The Supreme Law of these United States have be violated.
I most strongly urge you and your fellow (Representatives or Senators) within the Rights Reserved only for the Sovereign States, to begin the process of Rescission of the 17th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Thereby restoring the Full Rights and Sovereignty to the Individual States guaranteed under the 10th Amendment and returning the voice of those States to Freely Articulate their Own Best Interest without the Threat of Duress or Reprisal from the Federal Government.
  • FOLLOWING IS THE BILL OR RESOLUTION I URGE YOU INTRODUCE IN THE STATE LEGISATURE FOR REACTIVATION OF STATE LEGISLATIVE SELECTION OF THE TWO UNITED STATES SENATORS THEREOF

    1. Continuation or curtailment of the terms of the present U.S. Senators to be left to the discretion of the State Legislatures thereof

    2. The wages of a U.S. Senator appointed by a State Legislature shall be paid-by that State, and that Senator shall be accountable to the State Legislature thereof

3 . The last clause of Article V of the U.S. Constitution specifies-
"...THAT NO STATE, WITHOUT ITS CONSENT SHALL BE DEPRIVED OF ITS EQUAL SUFFRAGE IN THE SENATE."
(This is the key to the very existence of States' rights in the U.S. Senate)

    4. States choosing to implement Article V shall activate Article 1, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution. "The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, CHOSEN BY THE LEGISLATURE THEREOF, for six years, and each Senator shall have one vote."

5, The Federal Courts shall have no commission in this basic structure of our Government. (The Constitutional Republic)

    6. The States built and implemented our basic Constitution form of Government including the Federal Courts -- It's the Commission of the States -- not the Federal Courts -- to maintain this basic Governmental structure -- the product of the constitutional convention in 1787.

    7. There shall be NO ATTEMPT to use this Resolution as a vehicle to open up a Constitutional Convention. It is not a question of altering this excellent form of Government, but it is a question of adhering to the basic premises of this important document -- THE CONSTITUTION.
  • The honor is mine...
