The Way I See It:
HR-1, suspiciously named: FOR THE PEOPLE, but, it's not really for the people, it's for the Left in order to completely control all aspects of the Federal Government, without debate and once again without an honest vote.
"FOR THE PEOPLE", Takes me back too 1962 and an old sci-fi tale from Rod Serling's "Twilight Zone" TV series. An alien space ship comes to earth, speaking of their good intentions, their ability to cure disease and they offered aid and comfort to any humans who might be elderly, infirmed with fatal diagnosis and their families, if they would only come aboard the alien's giant transport ship. At first, only a few hundred humans accepted the offer, but when the alien ship returned with letters to their loved ones about how wonderfully peaceful, beautiful and comforting the aliens and their planet was, it wasn't long before human passengers lined up by the thousands and even hundreds of thousand so they could be whisked off to the utopian planet. The leaders of this alien world presented the earth's world leaders with a hard covered book that explains why these aliens were offering this once in a lifetime opportunity for eternal peaceful, painless life. The aliens in most polite ways and concerning for human welfare stated time and time again that they were simply a benevolent life form from another planet and their intentions were simply to serve man. Never questioned, because "to serve man" became commonplace on signs and posters in news papers, all around the globe. The book that was presented to earth's world leaders appropriately carried the three word title: TO SERVE MAN. Of course the book itself was written entirely in their own alien language. It took several months to be deciphered by cryptologists. By the time the aliens had transported millions of earthling humans to their planet, an American FBI cryptographer decoded the language, the letters and eventually the book in it's entirety. "TO SERVE MAN", was a cook book. HR-1 is that cookbook, the Left are the aliens lying and fooling the earthlings with promises of peace, comfort,equity and a painless existence in a place where the aliens would see to their every need. Sounds a lot like HR-1. The American people need to read the bill in it's entirety to see, that something that's touted as "FOR THE PEOPLE", isn't for the people, it's for the Leftist takeover, through government control of every aspect of the live of the people.
HR-1 is in fact a "cook book" full of recipes to destroy the republic and force Communism down the throats of the unsuspecting populace, especially the ones who just can't resist the endless offer of free stuff.
That's the way I see it...
